The call for Papers for the 17th EAOHP Conference      is open

 

The theme for the 2026 conference is ‘Mental health at work: From research to policy and practice’.

The programme will include oral and poster presentations as well as a number of invited and special symposia in line with the multidisciplinary conference theme. These include a session providing an international OHP perspective from the International Coordinating Group for Occupational Health Psychology (ICG-OHP). Across three days of engaging sessions, delegates will dive into cutting-edge research, innovative interventions, and policy discussions shaping the future of workplace well- being.

Submission Topics

Submissions are welcome in all areas of research, practice, and education in occupational health psychology and related areas. Relevant topics include but are not limited to studies on:

Psychosocial work environment

– Antecedents of mental health, stress and well-being
– Work-related stress: Theory and measurement
– Interpersonal relationships and mental health at work
– Work-life balance
– Social capital and social climate

Contemporary issues in OHP

– Inequalities in working conditions and work-related health
– Sustainability, green jobs and just transitions
– Future of Work: New forms of work (e.g., hybrid, remote, gig) and implications for health, safety and wellbeing:

    • Digitalisation, automation, robotisation: implications for health, safety and wellbeing
    • Mental health and wellbeing in the future of work
    • Work engagement and positive OHP

Individual and organizational interventions

– Training and education
– Workplace health promotion
– Stakeholder Involvement and Setting Priorities
– Organizational interventions, outcomes and evaluation

Policy and societal context

– Policy-level interventions including regulation and CSR
– Capacity building at the national and sectoral levels
– Initiatives to promote social partners’ awareness and involvement to psychosocial risk management and mental health at work

Session Types

Four types of sessions will take place during the conference.

Please note that participants are allowed to present a maximum number of three presentations – one of which to be a poster presentation. This does not include special or invited sessions.

15 minute oral presentations, organised in concurrent themed sessions

Symposia

Presentation of a series of papers on a common theme

Poster presentations

Illustrative reports on research in progress or developing ideas

Early career sessions

 A roundtable session for PhD students and early career researchers
