The department of Social Psychology at Tilburg University has a vacancy for a PhD student on the topic of Understanding destructive leadership behaviours in the workplace (full-time, 4 years)

Project description

Destructive leadership is a common workplace behavior with harmful effects for employees and organizations. The topic has garnered significant research interest in the past years, as demonstrated by several reviews and meta-analyses published on this topic. Notwithstanding these trends, a few areas in this line of research remain poorly understood and present major challenges to this field, including: (a) a lack of understanding of the supervisor’s perspective, (b) issues with the existing leadership measures, and (c) the predominance of correlational and time-lagged study designs. This PhD project will aim to generate a better understanding of destructive supervisory behaviors from the perspective of the supervisors with a mixed method approach. For more information please visit: Job opening: PhD student on the topic of Understanding destructive leadership behaviours in the workplace (21524) (successfactors.eu)
